Dusseldorf Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Since the beginning of 2011, Kloepfel Consulting has supported the Düsseldorfer Tierschutzverein e. V. in both word and deed. The society, which was founded in 1873, helps each animal in need through:
- Its own animal shelter
- The promotion of animal protection among the population, particularly among the youth
- Help for each animal in need through the use of the animal rescue vehicle twenty-four hours a day, including Sundays and legal holidays
- The supporting of the city’s public order office and veterinarian’s office through the association’s own animal protection inspectors who follow up on tips received from the local residents.
- The supporting of the Welttierschutzgesellschaft [Global Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals], the Deutschen Tierschutzbundes [German Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals], the Landestierschutzverbandes [State Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals] and der Zoologischen Gesellschaft Frankfurt [Frankfurt Zoological Society] on the solving of national, state and global animal cruelty problems.
- The supporting of the Tierschutzakademie [Academy for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals] of the Deutschen Tierschutzbundes on the development of alternative methods to objectionable animal experimentation.
