The Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik (BME), founded in 1954, is the service provider for 8,000 individual and corporate members which includes both medium-sized companies as well as large companies. As a network designer, the BME promotes the exchange of experiences for companies and research institutions, for the buyers and the suppliers. The association is open to all sectors (industries, trading, public sector clients, banks/insurance companies) and corporate forms.
1.25 billion euro – this is how high the purchasing volume is for the member companies represented in the BME. The value of the goods, products and services which are purchased by the Purchasing Division amount to approx. 42 percent of the corporate sales.

Membership in the ReTurn Expert Forum
ReTurn appeals to everyone in Austria who directly participates in restructuring processes: Restructuring managers, corporate consultants, bankers, certified public accountants, specialised investors, attorneys, etc. ReTurn offers an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge as well as opportunities for continuing education in order to increase and safeguard the quality of the Austrian restructuring market. For regular, well-attended events, the members and interested parties will have the opportunity to receive first-hand information about current developments and themes in the restructuring market and to discuss them. At the same time, the members are supposed to profit from the ReTurn network.

The OWL MASCHINENBAU Innovation Network has the goal of strengthening the financial and technological performance of the machine-building region of eastern Westphalia-Lippe in international competition. With 272 companies and more than 42,000 employees, machine-building is a historical core competence of the region. The medium-size structured industry is confronting the challenges of increasing globalisation and ever-faster technological transformation with new forms of cooperation. The most important duties and goals of OWL Maschinenbau e.V. include the strengthening of the financial and technological performance of regional medium-sized machine-building companies, the development of locational advantages for the companies in global competition and the safeguarding of the current positions of the companies for the long-term stabilization of the labour market.
